Great beast of boreal haunts Taunting knives across the streams Warned of your murderous ways Capturing skulls of human prey We see We hear We see We hear Stories of your existence Painted on stone and clay We see We speak Of dark places Deep within the pines Ghost fires glow beyond Forbidden lands of hollowed doom Scarred eyes and tongues Footprints ancient in moss and bone From stars you’ve birthed in our bloodlines God of the hunt Worship the black moon Called from the depths Sacrifice us all Alive in visions With venom of snakes The sights of poison intoxicate Breathe in the smoke Head to the birch Rituals in dreams Command to invoke Alive in visions Consuming your flesh forbidden by old ones I saw you stand before the might of Superior You had death in your eyes And for a moment I thought we would speak But you ran Disappearing into the cliffs Leaving me alone So I followed the trail of blood

Silvery glow entombed me Throned in a tapestry of night Souls pass into my arms As I shower them in starlight The auroras my breath Ancient realm greets death Seer of the north Great mother of wolves Cold empress of the north Underworld solstice sacrifice White adorned crowns Howler of the moon Reading the bones and skulls For telling births rooted Louhi of stars Mother of wolves Louhi of the moon Pohjola your throne She carries the dead Serpents at her breast Birther of plagues The winds her voice She is the speaker of unknowns Dark goddess of the old Blood forms the rivers in the snow Fangs drape around bones Howler of the dark moon shifting Snow bared Queen adrift Throned in teeth and jawbones Fierce hag foretold in spells Louhi Great Queen Holder of celestial sorcery Boreal desert born Winter you are adorned

Longing for Autumn Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! She reached out to touch my soul Harbinger of reticence foretold The dry and lifeless white oak leaves Crushed by the weight of my drunken falter Intoxicating scent Temptation personified Golden hues phosphorus My departure, my demise Perennial ghost of mine She comes to me in awe Cold yet blood warm My body aches to be inside Pain becomes the natural state as time shifts through time Shadows rise and fall as Sunna shrouds her warmth inside Skeletal timbers reach out to embrace with bare arms Seasonal winds carry light into the dark We long for Autumn!

I approach the mystical gate of reincarnation To some death, others life I do not know what awaits me there All I know is that I am afraid Possessed by this malevolence Transfixed by its ashen skin Hunger calls I must move to another plane Fear and doubt drive me insane Desperately searching for the key to the past Longing to regain that happiness Begging for the fog around the soul to evaporate With no change, Will I die? Feeling its weight among my thoughts Unbearable physical toll No longer able to outrun I must move to another plane My existence forever changed Praying to the gods, the ones I’ve ignored Begging to be saved by the ones I abhorred Selfishly I sought excess Death is here but I won’t rest Eyes aglow, the skin is taught Matted hair, stinking of rot The long tongue licks my flesh Yellow fangs and lips a mess This is my fate, my burden now And the ones I love endangered somehow Creature of ice, corruption and greed Feeds on me now, I’ve become my own deeds In peace I came In torment I decease Still unaware of the power of this beast My dying moment is here at least An end to this suffering, I now am the past Transformation complete, I am Wendigo Nefast
